Professor Dr Rudrapatna V. Ramnath, Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT)

Prof Dr Rudrapatna V. Ramnath receive his Bachelor of Electrical in India, Master of Electrical Engineering from Cranfield Institute of Technology in UK and later when to Princeton, US. He receive three degree there; Master in Aerospace and Mechanical, MA in Physic and Mathematic and PhD in Physic, Mathematic and Aeronautics. He when to MIT in 1972 and serve to MIT until now under the mechanical, aeronautic and astronautic department. His main field is fly dynamic guidance and control of advanced aircraft and spacecraft. He has works on Apollo space shuttle, being consultant of NASA and had experience works with the US Department of Defense (US Air Force). In sport, he contribute in developing the sport technology methodology of evaluation of performance of sport equipment. He also being a technical editor of tennis magazine & golf illustrated magazine, an advisor of ATP (Association of Tennis Professionals). He has written more than 100 of paper on many subjects in physic, mathematic and engineering in his career path.
It is our great pleasure to have a visiting professor from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, USA to share his knowledge, experiences and idea to develop High Performance Sport Lab in UTM.

The laboratories facilities have been improved since the visit. A few lab/experiment equipments have been acquired such as the EEG acquisition system, Ultrasound machine, LabView Software and a 4-Channel Integrated Pre-Amplifier. More equipment is in the acquiring process.

The existing regulations and procedures are adequate. Nevertheless, the gap between professor’s expectation and the student’s knowledge will be addressed. |

It seems not appropriate to reducethe number of credits any further”.
