Recommendations and overall comments on the quality and output of the course/programme:

i) Recommendations:

“After adjusting the credits for comparison, it seems that the level is at the lower end of aBachelor of Engineering (Biomedical) study programme. It seems not appropriate to reducethe number of credits any further”.

Curriculum is in the reviewing process by the curriculum review task force.

5

Overall comments on the quality and output of the bachelor degree programme:

i)“Overall are satisfied. The programme has good basic structure and the focus of the programme is clear”.

Number of elective offered at final year is not sufficient

Three elective courses offered in the final year, i.e. two in first semester and one in second semester.

2

Material covered in mathematics is in the low side: lack of linear algebra.

A meeting with the respective faculty will be held to discuss about this matter
