The 2023 IEEE Conference on Energy Conversion (CENCON 2023) will be fully physical (face-to-face) at Kuching, Sarawak, Malaysia, on 23rd to 24th October 2023. The objective of the conference is to share the latest research in the areas of power electronics, electrical drives, renewable energy, modelling and control systems.
CENCON 2023 is organized and sponsored by the IEEE Power Electronics (PELS) Malaysia Chapter; co-organized by Power Electronics and Drives Research Group (PEDG) Universiti Teknologi Malaysia; Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS); and technical co-sponsor by The Korean Institute of Power Electronics (KIPE).
The conference program will feature technical paper presentations and technical exhibition. Papers that are accepted and presented papers at the conference will be submitted to IEEE Xplore and will be included in IEEE Xplore digital library ISBN 979-8-3503-2509-6 (subject to the approval of the IEEE Technical Program Committee) and hence indexed in WEB OF SCIENCE and SCOPUS. We are glad to inform that the previous 2014, 2015, 2017, 2019 and 2021. conference proceedings are already included in IEEEXplore digital library and SCOPUS.
CENCON 2023 covers a wide range of topics that include Control of Power Electronics, Education in Power Electronics, Electric & Hybrid Electric Vehicles, Electrical Machines Design and Drives, Energy Harvest and Storage, High Voltage and Electrical Insulation Engineering (Anything that related to the high voltage system and insulation), High Voltage Insulation Condition Monitoring, Multilevel Inverters, Power Electronics Converter and Design Issues, Power Engineering Systems, Power Quality Issues, Renewable Energy Systems, and Smart Grid.

The 2021 IEEE Conference on Energy Conversion (CENCON 2021) will be fully virtual, on 25th -26th October 2021. The objective of the conference is to share the latest research in the areas of power electronics, electrical drives, renewable energy, modelling and control systems.
CENCON 2021 is organized and sponsored by the IEEE Power Electronics (PELS) Malaysia Chapter, co-organized by Power Electronics and Drives Research Group (PEDG), Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, and technical co-sponsor by The Korean Institute of Power Electronics (KIPE).
The conference program will feature technical paper presentations and technical exhibition. Papers that are accepted and presented papers at the conference will be submitted to IEEE Xplore and will be included in IEEE Xplore digital library ISBN 978-1-5090-2948-8 (subject to the approval of the IEEE Technical Program Committee) and hence indexed in SCOPUS. We are glad to inform that the previous 2014, 2015, 2017 and 2019 conference proceedings are already included in IEEEXplore digital library and SCOPUS.

2020 IEEE International Conference on Power and Energy (PECon2020) will be held in fully virtual on 7 to 8 December 2020. This is the 8th edition of PECon, which is jointly-organized biennially by IEEE Power Electronics Society (IEEE PELS) Malaysia Chapter and IEEE Power & Energy Society (IEEE PES) Malaysia Chapter. The objective of the conference is to share the latest research in the areas of electrical power, power electronics, electrical drives, renewable energy and control systems. PECon2020 program will feature keynotes and plenary sessions, technical paper presentations, technical exhibitions and gala dinner.
All accepted papers for PECon2020 will be included in the IEEE Xplore Digital Library (subject to approval from the IEEE Technical Committee). The previous proceedings of PECON2008, PECON2010, PECON2012, PECON2014, PECON2016 and PECON2018 have been included in IEEE Xplore database.

The 2019 IEEE Conference on Energy Conversion (CENCON 2019) will be held at Royal Ambarrukmo hotel, located in Yogyakarta, Indonesia on 16 – 17 October 2019. The objective of the conference is to share the latest research in the areas of power electronics, electrical drives, renewable energy, modeling and control systems. At the same time, it allows the international delegates to discover the “Beautiful and Peaceful Indonesia”.
CENCON 2019 is organized and sponsored by the IEEE Malaysia Power Electronics (PEL) Chapter, co-organized by IEEE Indonesia Power Electronics (PEL) Chapter and Universitas Ahmad Dahlan and technical co-sponsored by The Korean Institute of Power Electronics (KIPE) and Power Electronics and Drives Research Group (PEDG). 2018 IEEE International Conference on Power and Energy (PECon2018) will be held at Berjaya Times Square Hotel, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on 3-4 December 2018. This is the 7th edition of PECon, which is jointly-organized biennially by IEEE Power & Energy Society (PES) Malaysia Chapter and IEEE Power Electronics Society (PELS) Malaysia Chapter.
The conference provides engineers and academia with the opportunity to share experiences in recent development, current practices and future trends in power and energy. This event will feature a unique platform for discussing issues and developments in electrical power, power electronics, energy and its associated engineering fields. It is also a networking opportunity for establishing international relationships, the exchange of ideas and experiences amongst the many delegates. PECon2018 program will feature keynotes, plenary session and technical paper presentations. The technical paper presentations cover the following topics:
