The PVedukit team that consisted of academic staff members from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) Johor Bahru and Kuala Lumpur and 2 students from UTM Johor Bahru, joined the 2018 Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) Mentor-Mentee Award Competition held at the Putra World trade Centre (PWTC), Kuala Lumpur, from 22nd until 24th February 2018. During the competition, the team showcased its STEM related activities carried out at 17 schools across the countries using the PVedukit as the STEM learning tool. Besides joining the competition, the team also took the opportunity to promote the university’s expertise and technology to the visitors. The competition was organised by the National STEM Movement and a total of 47 STEM projects from various public universities, including Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM), Universiti Malaya (UM), Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS) and Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM), were showcased.
