Photonics Fabrication Laboratory

Photonic Fabrication Laboratory is one of several research laboratories supervised by the Communication Engineering Department of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering. Currently, the laboratory is under the supervision of Dr. Ahmad Sharmi bin Abdullah as the Laboratory Academic Coordinator. While Pn. Rosmawati Binti Othman, the Laboratory Assistant Engineer is assigned to monitor and facilitate the operations of the laboratory.

As a research laboratory, it is equipped with a number of workstations and computers for postgraduate students. There are also facilities such as meeting room and pantry provided for the expediency of the staffs and students. At present, the laboratory is occupied by six full-time Ph.D. students. At times, a number of part-time Ph.D. students come to the lab at a time of their convenience.
