Radar

( P03-409-RESEARCH LABORATORY )

Welcome to

Radar Laboratory

Electricity is the driving force behind all types of human activities, developments, and technologies. RADAR LABORATORY was constructed under COMM Department. The aim is to expose the student to some common electrical components and measuring instruments that can be used in the experiments on the electrical and electronic engineering. It will also help the student to understand the advanced microwave theory on an electrical and electronic engineering course. At the end of the lab session, the student will obtain the skill on measuring techniques and understand the characteristic of basic electrical devices.

Beginning semester 1/2016/2017, a new 4th Year lab format will be introduced that requires the active participation of students as compared to the previous lab format is known as CAPSTONE. The Capstone Project provides students with the opportunity to integrate technical knowledge and generic skills attained in the earlier years. This is to be achieved within the context of an engineering project conducted in a small team (typically three or four students) under the supervision of an academic staff and with optional of industry partner, as the advisor. Topics supplementing this course that include project management tools and practices, organizational structures, engineering standards as well as the social and environmental responsibility of professional engineers are covered in the Professional Ethics and/or Engineering Management courses offered prior to or concurrent with the course.
