EVOLT Open Day was successfully held at the Proton Future Drive Laboratory, Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), on 25 April 2017. The event was coordinated by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nik Rumzi Nik Idris, Dr. Shahrin Md Ayob and Dr. Mohd Junaidi Abdul Aziz of Universiti Teknologi Malaysia and two representatives from Proton. Various talks were given during the open day and the participants, mainly students from the faculty of electrical engineering and the faculty of mechanical engineering, UTM, were also given the opportunity to test drive the prototype electric car developed by staff and students from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia.
