Opening for Lecturer/Senior Lecturer/Assoc. Professor Level
The Department of Electronic and Computer Engineering (ECE Dept.) invites applications for a faculty position at Lecturer/Senior Lecturer/Assoc. Professor level with expertise in analog CMOS design, digital VLSI design, and IC testing. The incoming candidates should demonstrate strong analog or digital IC design, or IC testing research experience, a passion for education, and a commitment to effective teaching. Applicants must have an earned Ph.D in electronic engineering or a closely related engineering discipline. Mid-career candidates must have a proven ability to sustain funded research program. In addition, senior candidates should possess proven leadership skills, and an established reputation as a scholar. The successful applicants will be required to teach; advise and mentor undergraduate and graduate students; develop an independent, externally funded research program; participate in all aspects of the department’s activities; and serve the profession. Required Education and Experience
Applicant must be a Malaysian citizen and must have an earned doctorate in electronic engineering or a closely related engineering discipline with emphasis on analog or digital IC design, or IC testing. A candidate who has completed post-doctoral training and possesses strong research background is highly encouraged to apply. Fresh Ph.D graduates are also encouraged to apply but must have a strong desire to teach and mentor undergraduate and graduate students in our faculty.
