On May 9th 2017, Electronic & Computer Engineering department has organised a workshop called Bengkel Elektronik Sekolah 2017 (BES2017), at Computer System Laboratory, Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia. This workshop was participated by 4 high schools from Johor Bahru; SMK Skudai, SMK Desa Skudai, SMK Sultan Alauddin and SMK Taman Universiti. The objectives of the workshop are to expose high school students exploring the electronics world as well as to experience the campus life in UTM.
During the workshop, students were learned about digital concepts, circuit understanding, electronic components and Arduino for electronic devices controller together with the practical sessions. Lectures and hands-on were guided by instructors and facilitators from FKE and Seagate.
On that note, as the organizing committee, we would like to extend our sincere appreciation to Seagate for financial support as well as spending their time and effort joined the workshop and making the BES2017 a tremendous event.
