The Lightwave Communication Research Group (LCRG) currently consists of over twenty researchers including academic staff and postgraduate students. With this huge number of members, the group needs to have a common platform for its members to share their research work and progress. Hence, the LCRG 2017 Colloquium is to be brought into action. The colloquium will function as the knowledge sharing platform, through which participants will have the opportunity to obtain second opinion and feedback regarding the quality of their ongoing researches. In addition, the colloquium will be seen as a training ground for researchers to enhance their ability and skill in the presentation of research results. Researchers will as well able to produce research publication based on the materials presented during the colloquium. Last but not least, the colloquium sessions will capable of fostering family ties among the LCRG members.
Colloquium Objectives:
- To establish a platform for the purpose of knowledge sharing and discussion among members.
- To improve presentation skills either for the formal academic evaluation or conferences at both national and international levels.
- To increase the number of research outputs by publishing the presented materials in book chapters or colloquium proceeding.
- To strengthen the bond among the LCRG members.
Colloquium Abstract Submission:
Please submit your abstract to the LCRG Colloquium 2017 Committee at (asrul@utm.my) before 31st August 2017. The abstract must be prepared using this template.
