National Instrument Autonomous Robotic Competition 2024
Congratulations! to Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) for securing the Champion title for the fourth consecutive year in the prestigious National Instruments (NI) Autonomous Robot Competition (NIARC). UTM’s consistent excellence in this competition is a testament to the dedication and hard work of its teams and mentors. Dr. Mohd Saiful Azimi and the Airost team deserve special recognition for their outstanding performance in winning the national champion title once again. Their success exemplifies innovation, teamwork, and technical expertise, solidifying UTM’s position as a leader in autonomous robotics at the national level.
In addition to the champions, congratulations are also extended to Dr. Fauzan and the Sigma team for their impressive achievement in securing the consolation prize and reaching the quarter-finals. Despite not making it to the final stages, their strong performance in the competition demonstrated resilience and determination. Team Sigma’s effort was commendable, showcasing their skills and making a significant impact in the competition.
Also, a big thank you to UTM XCITE and Centre for Artificial Intelligence and Robotics (CAIRO) for providing facilities for student to express their creativity and innovation mind to build the robot. Also, thank you to Faculty of Electrical Engineering for sponsoring the transportation and accomodation to the students.
