A VISIT BY SMK SIMPANG RENGGAM
On 11 February 2020 (Tuesday, 3.00 pm), we have received a visit from the teachers and students of SMK Simpang Renggam. They are here to learn more about STEM-RBTK activities and exposed the new knowledges to the students. In the first session, they have been introduced with Tuah and Eureka Robot. Tuah and Eureka both are basic Arduino Nano based motorized robot that can perform line follow, light detection, infrared distance detection, Bluetooth communication and controlled remotely using a mobile apps. Students have been exposed with basic online graphical programming tools called Tinkerspace and it is easy to jump-start their first Tuah programming. The next session is a demonstration on drone technology. We demonstrate Tello: an impressive little drone for kids and adults that’s a blast to fly and helps users learn about drones with coding education. We hope teachers and students are enjoy the sharing session and in the future, we can collaborate with SMK Simpang Renggam for further exploring the STEM activities between us.
