PRE-RECORDED VIDEO SUBMISSION GUIDELINE

 Attention to all authors, 

Due to ongoing uncertainty regarding the COVID-19 pandemic, iMEDITEC 2021 will run a ‘pre-recorded mode’ presentation during the conference. The pre-recorded video submitted will be played during the parallel session.

During the parallel session, a maximum of 10 minutes will be allocated for the pre-recorded presentation and 5 minutes for live Q&A session.

Please take note of the NO SHOW POLICY :

All participants must be available for the Q&A session during their presentation slot. This is a requirement for the participant to receive their participation certificate and to be nominated for different award categories.

Therefore, all registered authors with accepted papers must prepare and upload a pre-recorded video of their presentation based on the following guideline.

2.0 Video Format

  • All videos must be encoded as an MP4.
  • Video must be set for HD format with minimum 1280 x 720 or other 720p settings
  • Name the video file as: imeditec2021.paperID.presenter_name.mp4 (Example: imeditec2021.72.aimiesalleh.mp4).

3.0 Duration

  • The presentation should not exceed 10 minutes. The video that exceeded the time limit will be trimmed by the organizer.
  • The pre-recorded presentation must include a window box with the speaking presenter via a webcam as shown below :

4.0 Tips for Recordings

  • Use a place for recording as quietly as possible.
  • Avoid areas that have an echo or bad acoustics.
  • A good microphone close to the mouth. Avoid, if possible, using the default built-in microphone on the computer.
