Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) has signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) with National Chung Hsing University (NCHU)\"\"<\/a> \"\"<\/a> Taiwan to collaborate in an exchange undergraduate program and research collaboration.
\nThe MoA was signed on 1st July 2022 by the UTM Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Datuk Ts. Dr. Ahmad Fauzi bin Ismail and the President of National Chung Hsing University, Prof Fuh-Sheng Shieu.
\nThe witnesses for the MoA were the former Dean of UTM Faculty of Engineering, Prof. Ts. Dr. Ruzairi Bin Abdul Rahim and Chair of School of Biomedical Engineering and Health Sciences, Dr. Ahmad Zahran Md Khudzari while from NCHE, Dean of NCHU College of Engineering, Professor Dr. Ming-Der Yang and Chair of Graduate Institute of Biomedical Engineering, Professor Dr. Congo Tak Shing Ching.
\nThe MoA engagement ceremony between the School of Biomedical Engineering and Health Sciences, UTM and the Graduate Institute of Biomedical Engineering, NCHU was held online on 29th September 2022 to officiate the execution and the realization of this agreement.
\nSchool of Biomedical Engineering and Health Sciences, UTM and Graduate Institute of Biomedical Engineering, NCHU have previously signed their first Memorandum of Understanding back in December 2018 where we have started to initiate many academic and research collaborations including:
\nindustrial training placement of undergraduate students from SBEHS, UTM in NCHU-GloBE
\npostgraduate student placement in NCHU-GloBE for research
\nOrganisation of international joint conferences of ISET-2020, iMEDIST 2021 and ISET 2021
\nResearch collaboration and joint publication between researchers from NCHU-GloBE and UTM-SBEHS.
\nThe signing of our recent MoA on 1st July 2022 marks the advancement of our existing collaboration and to further strengthen our relationship by introducing a student exchange program as one of the main agenda apart from realizing the university\u2019s agenda in fostering and expanding the innovation culture and encouraging the knowledge-sharing culture between UTM and other institutions abroad, especially universities from Asia countries.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
