Exciting News! UTM Triumphs Again at NIARC 2023! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\ud83e\udd16 UTM Airost Team, comprised of Ammar Bin Jamaludin, Wong Li Jie, Leong Cheng Onn, Chen Pyng Haw and Ng Jing Yi, secures the CHAMPION title at the NI Autonomous Robotics Competition (NIARC) 2023, marking the 3rd consecutive win for Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\ud83c\udf1f Special recognition to our supervisor, AP Dr. Che Fai Yeong from Department of Control & Mechatronics Engineering, UTM and Centre for Artificial Intelligence and Robotics, whose guidance has been instrumental in achieving greatness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\ud83d\ude80 NIARC, organized by NI Malaysia in collaboration with Universiti Sains Malaysia aims to foster learning, growth, and creativity among undergraduate students in the field of robotics. This year’s theme, “Robots in Manufacturing Industry: Direct Dispatch,” challenged teams to design and build robots capable of efficiently navigating through a warehouse environment, handling tasks like inventory management, order fulfillment, and object transportation. The ultimate goal? Creating robots that streamline operations and enhance productivity in a real-world warehouse setting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
