UTM Airost Team @utmairost has once again secured the CHAMPION TITLE at the NI Autonomous Robotics Competition (NIARC) 2024, held at Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) @usmofficial1969. The winning team, led by Dr. Mohd Saiful Azimi Mahmud, includes:

This year’s NIARC theme, “Blaze Buster,” tasked teams with building autonomous robots to operate in a simulated forest fire environment. The robots were designed to rescue victims by safely delivering them to a designated safe zone and extinguish fires by strategically releasing and collecting ping pong balls to simulate firefighting. Team Airost’s innovative approach and flawless execution stood out, highlighting UTM’s prowess in robotics and automation!
Meanwhile, Team Sigma
, led by Dr. Ir. Ts. Dr. Fauzan Khairi bin Che Harun, secured the Consolation Prize with an impressive performance!
