🎉 AIROST at the RoboCup Outreach Event! 🤖
We are delighted to share that our AIROST RoboCup team recently participated in the “RoboCup Malaysia Southern Region Outreach” event, organized by the Malaysian AI Robotics Society (MARS) and the Faculty of Engineering and Technology (FET) at Multimedia University (MMU).
📅 Event Highlights:
Date: 31st May – 1st June 2024
Venue: SMART Lab, 3rd Floor, Faculty of Information Science and Technology (FIST), Multimedia University (Melaka Campus)
📜 Schedule:
During the two-day event, our team engaged in various activities that enhanced their understanding and skills in robotics:
Day 1:
– We kicked off the event with an introduction to RoboCup by Dr Jeffrey, its rules, and shared past experiences. 📚
– Each team showcased their work and shared insights from their RoboCup journey. 🤖
– Participants took part in workshops covering SLAM, navigation, speech recognition, and mobilization. 🛠️
Day 2:
– Teams competed in a friendly match, putting their skills to the test with fun and challenging tasks. ⚽
– We concluded the event with a celebration of achievements and reflections on the experiences gained. 🎓
The event provided a valuable platform for learning, collaboration, and networking. We extend our heartfelt thanks to the organizers for hosting such an inspiring and educational program.
