Congratulations to Team KameRider Airost for clinching the Best Performance Award in the RoboCup 2023 Bordeaux Simulation Education Challenge! 🌟

Kudos to our brilliant Airostians mentors, Loke Rui Kee and Mohammed Saeed Mahmood Ahmed who made this achievement possible. Our team, KameRider Airost consisted of Anas Ismail Hassan Amer Aburaya (Leader), Mahmoud Abdelwase Mahmoud and Marco Bono, all in their fourth year of Bachelor of Electrical Engineering. 🎉

The RoboCup Simulation competition comprises two key components: the Handyman Task and the Open Challenge. For the first task, teams are required to complete two trials where robots follow human instructions to navigate, fetch specific objects, and place them accurately. The team’s overall score will be determined by their performance in both trials. Team KameRider Airost performed exceptionally well in the challenge, achieving a remarkable score of 70 in the first trial and 100 in the second, highlighting their exceptional performance.🚀

As for the Open Challenge, teams have a 15-minute presentation slot, including a robot simulation demo and a 5-minute Q&A session. The aim is to demonstrate the versatility of their robot as a life support system, free from specific task constraints. The teams showcased their latest research, with KameRider Airost presenting their computer vision findings. Additionally, they contributed to the workshop by creating the Human Navigation Task, using natural language processing and location-based techniques to guide humans in a virtual environment. 🤖

Congratulations to the team once again! Well done to all the members who fought hard and special thanks to Dr. Jeffrey Tan Too Chuan for guiding us on this remarkable journey. They pushed themselves and the team to a higher limit, achieving remarkable success. We hope their success story and inspirational achievement can motivate and inspire juniors and other students. 🚀🤖
