Prof. Ir. Dr. Hazlina Selamat is a leading expert in control systems, artificial intelligence, and robotics at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia. With a PhD in Electrical Engineering, she has been instrumental in advancing adaptive control and AI applications in robotics. As a key member of the Centre for Artificial Intelligence & Robotics (CAIRO), Prof Hazlina’s research encompasses optimization engines for energy management, human-robot interaction, and crowd modeling. Recognized among the “30 Women in Robotics You Need to Know About” by Robohub in 2020, she also co-founded Apt Touch Sdn Bhd, bridging academic innovation with industry applications.

Ts. Dr. Rose Alinda Alias is a distinguished academic in Information Systems at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM). A retired academician, Prof Rose continues to play a pivotal role in shaping Malaysia’s artificial intelligence landscape. As a lead contributor to the National AI Roadmap (AI-Roadmap) under the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MOSTI), she champions the integration of AI and robotics into national strategies. Her leadership in UTM’s 4IR initiatives and the Information and Service Systems Innovation Research Group underscores her enduring commitment to advancing AI-driven innovation and talent development in Malaysia.

Dr. Ishkandar Baharin is a pioneering figure in Malaysia’s robotics and AI landscape. As the President and Founding Member of the Malaysia Robotics and Automation Society (MyRAS), Dr Ishkandar has been instrumental in shaping national strategies, including the National Robotics Roadmap 2021–2030. With a career spanning academia, industry, and policy, Dr. Ishkandar has championed initiatives to integrate robotics and AI into sectors like manufacturing and agriculture, aiming to position Malaysia as a regional robotics hub by 2030.

Dr. Yeong Che Fai is a pioneering figure in Malaysia’s robotics and AI landscape. As a former academic at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia and co-founder of DF Automation & Robotics, Dr. Yeong has been instrumental in developing autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) equipped with AI-driven navigation and fleet management systems. His innovations have propelled DF Automation to international recognition, with deployments across various industries worldwide. Dr. Yeong’s contributions continue to shape the future of intelligent automation and robotics in Malaysia.
